| Airflow-wise, you'll probably need Garrett GT3076 turbos with T3 turbine housings and external wastegates at a minimum... which would be bolted to custom manifolds as no VG T3 manis exist at the moment. Injectors - you will need 1000cc/min or larger injectors to get close to 1000RWHP with six injectors (one per cylinder). 1000+HP capable injectors/VG fuel rails You'll also need to add another TT fuel pump or run a big aftermarket fuel pump capable of feeding 1000HP with room to spare. OE VG30DE blocks cannot be modified for 4-bolt mains, there's not enough meat in the block's webs to support the addition of outer bolts. Recommend ARP L19 main studs (260ksi tensile) for additional holding strength to keep the main caps from moving under load. Aftermarket rods with good bolts (220-260ksi tensile) will be needed for 9000RPM. The stock crank is forged but its oiling drilled holes will be a liability at 1000HP/9000RPM. Here's an interesting crankshaft oiling article. Beware of a hokey, so-called "hi-speed oiling" mod to the stock crank that some VG rebuilders will try to sell you on. Personally, I would talk with TT.net memeber Aliaz about the Crower billet crank and rods that he helped develop. One notable builder (Specialty Z) runs stock head bolts on their 800+HP VG without issues (note this requires a rock-solid, safe tune to pull it off). But if you intend to run on the ragged edge, ARP L19 head studs will allow you to increase the preload on the heads by roughly 30% over stock and you can back those up with copper head gaskets and by o-ringing the block. Here are some tasty transmission recipes: Mmmmmm tasty... beefy 5 speed gear sets Even better/beefier/tastier/reliablier ;-) transmission if you really plan to make 1000HP
